Overview

Financial Securities Exchange (Private) Limited (FINSEC) is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe as a Securities Exchange (Alternative Trading Platform).

FINSEC harnesses and facilitates electronic trading of a wide variety of securities, thereby formalising marginalised market segments and bringing all alternative trading activities on to a central and organised market place. FINSEC provides a world class electronic platform for the issuance, holding, trading and settlement of financial securities.

The exchange is fully automated and integrates all market participants in real time via a robust and state-of-the-art web based technology. The market participants include securities dealers, custodians, asset managers, issuers, settlement banks, market makers, transfer secretaries and regulators.

Who We Serve

Issuers

Eligible entities can bring their currently issued securities onto the Alternative Trading Platform for ease of trading and market based price discovery. Equally, qualifying issuers can raise capital by issuing securities on the Primary Market.

Investors

Individuals, corporates, trusts and other groups such as SACCOs; Cooperatives etc. are eligible to participate on the platform.

Participants

All market operators licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe are eligible to become participants. Subject to the relevant business rules, the following are the eligible participants on the ATP;
