Financial Securities Exchange (Pvt) Ltd, (FINSEC) will be introducing a Derivatives Market that provides for price discovery and risk transfer for securities, commodities and indices.
What are derivatives?
A derivatives is a security that derives its value from the value or return of another asset or security. Exchange-Traded derivatives are traded at a physical exchange or a centralized platform backed by a Clearing House. FINSEC provides a framework and platform for the issuance, listing, trading and settlement of derivatives as well as the activities and conduct of participants in the entire trading chain.
The framework promotes financial and market integrity customer integrity and is approved by the Securities Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ). The entire process is automated ensuring simplicity, efficiency and convenience.
